Classroom Tour
I know how much fun it is to take a ‘peek’ into another teacher’s classroom to get fresh ideas or see how they set things up. I will add new pictures to this page after I set my room up this year ( 08-09 ). Here are some pictures and ideas: · If you are able to hang curtains up in your windows, it adds a homey feeling and some charm to your room. · I like to use material to add a touch here and there. Cover your teacher desk and computer table with a cute piece of material that goes along with your theme. I have lots of ‘bee’ themed material to use in these places. · Make your library very SPECIAL-have it go along with your theme or have a comfy touch. So many teachers are so creative in this area. I’ve seen lofts, tents, bee hives, even a huge boot that the kids get to sit in, how cool is that? Simple ideas to go along with your theme can do wonders. If you have a cowboy theme buy a boot rug and tie some red bandanas to your bookcase. I have a beehive rug and a cute picket fence in my library. · I also have curtains on rods to hide cubby areas or storage corners. This is a neat way to hide stuff. Measure the length and width get a rod from walmart and ta-dah no one will know what’s behind your little cubby area where you are storing your many wonderful things. **Check out my classroom tour pictures under my slide shows on the navigation link to the left.** clipart courtesy of DJ Inkers and Google Images This website is created and maintained by Vicky Moore 2007-2008
